The two-day program for the 2016 Water Asset Management Conference will present asset management concepts, challenges and solutions within the water, wastewater and stormwater sector. Areas to be addressed include risk assessment, data management, planning and prioritizing infrastructure investment, renewal technology and more.
New this year, the program will feature a simultaneous track highlighting water loss challenges and solutions, including market drivers and economic impact of water loss, auditing and validation, and implementation of water loss programs.
Managing critical water and sewer assets is becoming increasingly difficult. Limited funding, aging infrastructure and regulatory compliance issues challenge leaders to “do more with less,” all while keeping an eye toward the future. The Water Asset Management Conference addresses these issues while exploring solutions. One of the most prominent issues water utility leaders must face is the growing challenge of water loss and its impact on revenue, which will be highlighted in a brand new track this year.
Continuing Education Credits (CEUs) will be awarded upon completion of the conference.
Executive-level water and wastewater utility leaders and decision makers, as well as engineers and consultants involved in the fields of water, wastewater and stormwater will all benefit from this conference.
